Blind

It was a halo silk that seemed to float in mid-air like a cobweb caged in a darkness that became opaque, impenetrable, tangible as it wrapped it shroud around the last breath of life that emanated from this statue...   

An amber colour bubble little up in my hands, revealing the dancing shapes of the walls of nature that wept tears of dampness, the fallen ceilings of the granite sky, the dilapidated doors that led into the hearts of proud trunks coated in leafy curtains, and yet they remained invisible – hidden by the ghostly blackness the covered the world…

Dusk poured over the street in a wreath of liquid fire, with tongues of scorching topaz and flaming amber licking at the sky, whilst an orchestra of black melodies followed closely, waiting to engulf the fire in a splash of inky darkness. 

Sacrifice

The key to being a success is what you are willing to let go. 

We sacrifice it all for that one amazing moment, that moment when you can truly say you deserve the title your job comes with, where you float above the rest. 

There are days that make the sacrifices seem worthwhile, few as they may seem. And then there are the days where everything feels like a sacrifice. And then there are the sacrifices that you can't even figure out why you're making.

A wise man once said you can have anything in life if you will sacrifice everything else for it... what he meant is nothing comes without a price tag. 

So before you go into battle, you better decide how much you're willing to lose. Too often, going after what feels good means letting go of what you know is right. 

And letting someone in, leaving your feelings at their expense, means abandoning the walls you've spent a lifetime building.

Of course, the toughest sacrifices are the ones we don't see coming...when we don't have time to come up with a strategy to pick a side or to measure the potential loss. 

When that happens, when the battle chooses us and not the other way around, that's when the sacrifice can turn out to be more than we can bear.

And how much can you sacrifice, until all that’s left is yourself?

Pain

Pain comes in all forms: the small tinges, the little bit of soreness, the random pain – the normal pain we live with every day.  

Then there's the kind of pain you can't ignore. A level of pain so great that it blocks out anything else, that makes the rest of the world fade away, until all you can think about is how much you hurt.

Pain. We anaesthetize, ride it out, embrace it, ignore it. And for some of us the best way to manage pain is to just push through it. 

There are no solutions. No easy answers. You just breathe deep and wait for it to subside. 

Most of the time pain can be managed. But sometimes the pain gets to you when you least expect it. It hits way below the belt and doesn't let up. 

Pain. You just have to fight through because the truth is you can't run away from it. 

And life will always make more.

No Church in the Wild

Promotion of freedom and no restraint in life leads to destruction of society’s fabric. More and more young lives propagate themselves with these idiotic beliefs and believing your choices have no effect on your self or the other party. Families everywhere are being destroyed because men and women adhere to these meanings of life, and when a baby is conceived all of them run.

I see the questions burning in you eyes

or is it just reflections 

of the stars high above you?
